Richie came to Australia with his partner Kylie in March 2015. After falling in love with the Australian way of life, they decided to stick around. Richie contracted to TJP Carpentry for a few months before coming on board full-time in February 2016. Since then, he's really advanced his skills (and his tool collection) to become Tim's right-hand man. It's highly possible that Richie could break any world records for quickest and most proficient hanging of doors. When he's not working, you'll find Richie either surfing or dreaming of moving to a little hut on the beach in Sri Lanka.
OWNER | CARPENTER | DESIGNER | BOSS MAN
In March 2014, Tim found he was receiving so many enquiries for work outside of his day job, that he had enough to fill 4 whole weeks of time. It was at this point that he figured he might as well jump into the ocean of owning a business and swim as far as he could. 3 years on and thanks to word-of-mouth recommendations, Tim hasn't been without work since.
When he's not working on other people's projects, Tim is renovating his 1950's weatherboard cottage in Hilton. Tim barracks for the Melbourne Demons (don't hold that against him) and as you can see, has even set up a TV in his workshop to ensure he never misses a game.
TIGER & MABEL
AUSTRALIAN KELPIES | APPRENTICE PESTS | BALL AFICIONADO'S
Tim's dogs Tiger & Mabel mainly work from home these days. Occasionally (and with the client's permission), they are allowed on-site. They are very efficient at digging holes for decking sub-frames and otherwise spend their days chasing tennis balls or resting in the shade.
COULD THIS BE YOU?
3/4TH YEAR APPRENTICE
Due to our constant expansion and work-in-hand, we're looking for a 3rd or 4th year apprentice to join the team. The successful candidate will have their own transport and drivers licence, as well as a true passion for all things Carpentry.
